The Rooms
The Den
We feature two well-apportioned rooms -- The Den and The Mine -- in our large log cabin which overlooks the rolling hills of southwestern Iowa, beautiful at any time of the year. Each room has a full bath with all linens, one queen bed and one aero bed, a sitting area and a kitchenette with coffee maker and microwave.

* TV/DVD player and a small selection of DVDs
The room rate is $95 per room for the first night for up to two people. For each additional night, $75. For an additional person, add $5 per night. (Aero beds available upon request.)
We ask for a $20 deposit per night and your choices for meals (see below) with your reservation.
Rates and Reservations
The Mine
Breakfast is included with each room reservation. Guests can choose from the following options (fresh fruit, juice, and coffee included with every option):
Belgian waffles
Hashbrown casserole (egg, bacon, cheese, and hashbrowns)
Oven French toast
In the evening, guests will have a choice of supper:
Campfire supper (hot dogs and s'mores, weather permitting)
Soup supper (chili, broccoli & cheese, or taco)
The Red Hat Society at a noon luncheon on the cabin deck.
Menus and Activities
About two hours driving distance from Omaha, Nebraska, and conveniently located between Maryville, Missouri and Clarinda, Iowa, Iowa Country Cabin Bed & Breakfast is located five miles east of Clarinda, Iowa, on Highway 2. Turn right (south) on X Avenue. Go 1 & 3/4 miles south to 2370 X Avenue, on the left (east) side of the road.
Map and Directions
One of our hobbies is flying. We have an Avid Plane under construction in the barn. We would love to show it to you! We enjoy flying in our Grumman Cheetah. Many small airports have courtesy cars. We enjoy going to movies and eating at restaurants and then flying back home.
