Rates
The nightly rate is $160 and the cleaning fee for your stay is $100. A one night deposit is required up front to reserve your dates. There is a $500 security deposit, refundable to your credit card upon checkout. There are no other hidden fees or taxes applied to your stay.
Rules
The cabin is located in a very rural community of other cabins. Its is quiet, peaceful, and beautiful for stargazing and nature watching! There is a strict "quiet" time starting at 10PM, no large gatherings or parties (beyond the maximum six occupants) are allowed. There is also no smoking and no pets.
Nature and Climate
Wildlife: This is a rural cabin and there are loads of natural wildlife to enjoy including deer, turkey, hawks, owls, coyote (at night you hear them!). This cabin is a traditional log cabin builtin 2018. This being said, in the warmer months you may encounter the occasional bug or mouse. We do the best we can to mitigate these guests with frequent pest control.
Climate: In the spring and fall the weather in this area is gorgeous and we leave windows open with fans on. In the winter months we use the furnace as well as the wood burning stove which more than heats the main floor of the cabin. When there is ample snow fall an AWD vehicle is required to access the cabin. In peak summer months we use the air conditioning as well as fans. Please be aware when outside temperatures peak above 90 degrees the cabin has difficulty cooling below 70 degrees.
